PVC wallpaper, also known as embossed wallpaper or resin wallpaper, is a wall decoration material made from paper, non-woven fabric, or textile materials as a base, coated with polyvinyl chloride (PVC) paste resin, and then processed through printing and embossing. It is mainly divided into three types: ordinary, foamed, and functional.
Since 1969, Japan has widely used PVC wallpaper, with its residential usage rate approaching 100%. PVC wallpaper features realistic patterns, a strong three-dimensional effect, good water resistance, and ease of cleaning and maintenance, but its environmental performance is relatively weak, and its breathability is poor.
