PVC wallpaper is made by attaching polyvinyl chloride (PVC) material to the surface of paper, non-woven fabric, or textile materials using a specific process. The main manufacturing processes include PVC coated wallpaper (spraying method) and PVC vinyl wallpaper (coating method). PVC coated wallpaper uses pure paper, non-woven fabric, or woven fabric as the base material, spraying a PVC paste resin onto the surface, followed by printing and embossing. PVC vinyl wallpaper is made by covering a layer of PVC film onto a pure paper, non-woven fabric, or woven fabric base, followed by lamination, embossing, and printing.

Wallpaper made using these processes is often called deep-embossed wallpaper or resin wallpaper, depending on the depth and effect of the embossing.
